Celebrate Recovery (Monday Nights)

Celebrate Recovery is a safe, confidential place for you to explore issues and get help with life’s problems. It is a Christ-centered "12-Step and 8 Recovery Principles," designed to help you discover freedom and healing from past hurts and destructive behaviors. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our lives' problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only true High Power.

What is Celebrate Recovery?

Celebrate Recover is a nationwide recovery program based on God's Word, the Bible. Christ began His sermon on the mount by stating eight ways to be happy, commonly referred to as "The Beatitudes." From a secular standpoint, these statements don't make sense but to those who believe Christ's words these eight principles are God's road to recovery, wholeness, growth and spiritual maturity.

We have groups in the following areas:

Chemical Addictions (both men’s and women’s groups)
Codependency (both men’s and women’s groups)
Sexual Addictions (both men’s and women’s groups)

Welcome Newcomers!

Room:  F-124 & 125                Men and Women

Welcome! It’s not easy being the new guy or gal on the block. Well, relax we all have been new one time or another. We are glad you are here! Welcome Newcomers is a small group designed for first-time guests. This small group provides you with the opportunity to learn more about recovery and ask questions. It also provides us the opportunity to connect with you and help you decide which small group you will attend next week. We will discuss the basics of the recovery program. You will receive a newcomer’s packet with helpful information. You only need to attend this group the first time you come Monday nights.

Men & Women’s Chemical Dependency

Room:  F-102A & 102B                Men’s Group

Room:  F-116 & 117                Women’s Group

For those who are addicted to one or more mood altering chemicals, such as alcohol, drugs, and prescriptions. It's chief symptom is denial that there is a problem. Wrong choices, the desire for a quick and easy fix to life's uncomfortable dilemmas, plus peer influences caused many of us to abuse chemicals beyond our control. Shame makes us feel that we are defective and less than. A Christ-centered 12 Step program helps us achieve a healthy and Christ-honoring life style.

Men & Women’s Co-Dependency

Room:  F-119 & 120                Men’s Group

Room: F-104 & 114               Women’s Group

In its broadest sense, codependency can be defined as an addiction to people, behaviors, or things. Codependency is the fallacy of trying to control inferior feelings by controlling people, things, and events on the outside. To the codependent, control or lack of it is central to every aspect of life.

One of the objectives of the CR Group is to provide a supportive, and safe environment. We are not here to lecture, preach, fix or provide therapy. We are here to apply the principles of the 12 Steps to our lives. We come together to share in our weakness, for it is in our weakness that we gain strength.

Men’s Sexual Addictions

Room F-101, 103 & 105                Men’s Group

The Men's Sexual Addiction group offers a Christ-centered support for men seeking recovery from lust and compulsive sexual behaviors. The cornerstone for our recovery is the power and love of Jesus Christ. It is built upon the fellowship of the group, having a safe place to share our struggles, pain, and victories, with the accountability and mutual support of the group throughout the week.

Partners in Recovery

Room F-113                Women’s Group

The Partners in Recovery group has an approach to helping women work their own recovery related to their partner's addicton. Grieving, comforting, and healing hurts related to living with an addict.

Sexual/Physical/Emotional Abuse

Room F-122                Women’s Group

This is a Christ-centered group for women in recovery from past physical, sexual and/or emotional abuse. One of the keys to success in this recovery program is the coming together of people with similar backgrounds who also have common goals and objectives. Our common background is a history of abuse and our goal is to enter into or maintain recovery. Recovery for us is a two-fold issue. We need healing from the traumas done to us at sometime in our past; we also need healing from the influence these past experiences continue to have on our present lives. For the newcomer the rewritten 12 Steps can be a place to recognize and identify core issues resulting from past abuse. The newcomer can receive validation, understanding and knowledge of appropriate action to take by practicing the Steps among Christian Women.

Life Hurt God Heals

Room F-204 & 205                     Monday Nights                        Coed Teen Group

If you are a junior high or high school student who is experiencing pain or addiction, and you find yourself involved with sex, drugs, pornography, eating disorders, drinking, cutting, depression, abuse, or living with troubled family dynamics, then Life Hurts God Heals is for you. Let's face it, sometimes life hurts, and then habits form that are hard to break. You may feel like you are dying on the inside. Life Hurts God Heals is a caring, non-condemning, Christ-centered, 8-step program based on the beatitudes from the Bible that is designed to help you discover freedom and healing from past hurts and destructive behaviors.
